Religious Education

Welcome to Our Religious Education Program
At St. Jude Maronite Catholic Church, we believe that faith grows best when nurtured through learning, fellowship, and prayer. Our Religious Education (or Faith Formation) program offers formation for children, youth, and adults—helping each person grow in knowledge, devotion, and discipleship.
Whether you’re preparing for the sacraments, seeking to deepen your understanding of the Maronite tradition, or wanting to share in community prayer and study, you’ll find support here.
Important Information
Our Religious Education program begins each fall, with registration typically opening in August and classes starting in September. Families are encouraged to register early to ensure class placement. A small fee helps cover materials and retreat costs, though no family is ever turned away for financial reasons. All students receive age-appropriate textbooks and resources, and those preparing for sacraments participate in special workshops and retreats. Regular attendance and family participation are vital to each child’s spiritual growth, and parents are invited to partner with our catechists in nurturing faith at home.

Growing in Faith Together
At St. Jude Maronite Catholic Church, we believe that faith formation is a lifelong journey shared by the entire parish community. Through our Religious Education program, families grow together in prayer, knowledge, and love for God. Whether in the classroom, during the Divine Liturgy, or through community service, every moment becomes an opportunity to live the Gospel and strengthen our Maronite Catholic identity.
